Steve 'Bullet" Mackenzie Pro Model with ISS Stringer System. There's definitely a bit of the old and a bit of the new in this board! Once again, we've used Bullet’s refined and slightly modernized template. With a little bit of extra width compared to a lot of the Pro model board on the market, this board is a perfect all-rounder for all wave sizes & suitable for prone or dropknee riding.

The Top Chine rail gives it a nostalgic feel and look top, while the Vax Trax Rail gives it some bite on the bottom rail. Once again we've also combo's up the Vax Trax Rails with the Transitional Hull Channels. Being longer in length with extremely slight graduation, means these channels keep harmony and flow, allowing water to enter and exit cleanly with minimal disturbance.

Core construction is pretty Standard PP / Stringer / Mesh, but we've added a bit of versatility with the ISS Stringer option.

ISS Stringer System

The Interchangeable Stringer System revolutionises high performance bodyboarding by giving the rider the freedom to fine tune the flex of their board to suit the wave and water conditions. Using patented Load and Lock technology, ISS stringers are inserted and removed with the turn of a key. The ISS range of stringers utilises the latest advancements in composite construction and manufacturing technology to create a quiver of shafts that covers the full spectrum of riders and flex requirements.

Suggested Bodyboard Sizing:

As a general guide, a bodyboard should go to the rider's belly button. Apart from that, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to choosing the correct size board. Generally bigger boards are faster, but not as easy to control, and generally suited to smaller waves and beginners. On the other hand smaller boards are a bit harder to generate speed, however, have greater control and are ideal for bigger waves and more advanced riders.
As a guide, please refer to the table below. If you're a beginner, you are probably best suited to a size in which you fall in the lower end of the weight range. ie. 40kg beginner would be best suited to 38", not 36".
Board Size Weight Range
34" <30kg
38" 35-50kg
40" 45-75kg
42" 65-95kg
44" 80-105kg
